3 Entrepreneurship Lessons from my 3 Year Old Daughter [Video]

This is the final video presentation that I gave at Harvard for a course I’m taking about public speaking.

It’s about the lessons learned from my 3 year old daughter (who I consider is a great mentor), and how those lessons have helped me become a better entrepreneur.

Click play below to watch the video.

Here’s the link to  the 5 Whys technique which is used in the corporate world to figure out the root cause of a problem. It was originally developed by the Toyota Motor Corporation to develop its manufacturing process.

Hope you enjoy the video!

Oh, and here are the links to my first two speeches in the series:

  1. Hi Hassan,

Thanks for sharing. Loved your three GREAT points.

I just happen to be reading Amanda Lang’s new book “The Power Of Why” http://www.amazon.com/The-Power-Of-Why-Hardcover/dp/1443413186/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1354672275&sr=8-1&keywords=the+power+of+why

Recognizing that learning is a life long journey means that mistakes can be viewed as temporary setbacks on the road to the BIG PICTURE OF SUCCESS and that it takes time to learn.

Why would we do anything if we knew that we weren’t going to have FUN?

    Gary

  2. Thanks Hassan. Great points. Loved the family related stories.

  3. Hey Hassan,
Loved your speech (as always)! Very nice 3 points. Your stories remind me of my childhood days when I asked my dad whys and he would patiently answer all my questions :) Now, I drive my manager crazy with my whys….
